Five Detained Over Disappearance of Aubrey Caroline In Langtang

 Five persons have been arrested in  suspicion of murder of a missing US tourist.An American woman  named Aubrey Caroline Sacco have been missing since 2010, she was last seen on 22nd April 2010 in Langtang Trekking Route of Rasuwa Nepal.

CBI has been investigating this case for a long time, Nepal police and its capacity was questioned by the family of the missing woman as the police hadn't found any clue about her.Few days ago police had detained Jagat Tamang of Bhorle VDC for interrogation, after his statement, police arrested other four named Pemba Tamang of Bhorle VDC, Lakpa Lopchang Tamang of Langtang and Chyanga Tamang of Saramthali whereas one more arrestee's name is unknown.
According to Jagat Tamang's statement, Lakpa Lopchan was the mastermind of the incident, they murdered Aubrey somewhere near by a river and thew her body and passport into river.Jagat took her camera whereas her clothes were kept at Lakpa's home.
 After her disappearance, Aubrey's father Paul, mother Connie and other relatives visited Nepal and asked to find her whereabouts.They even visited the langtang region to search in a hope to find her.They asked FBI, American Embassy, American Senate and white House to find her.A reward of 2 milion Rs was announced for anyone informing her whereabouts.
Aubrey had started hiking in Langtang region from 20 April 2010, first night she had stayed at Syabrubesi and the second night at Namaste Hotel of Pahiro Chhetra.The third day she was heading to Riverside after eating lunch at Lama Hotel, she went missing.
Aubrey was holding US passport no. 465720720 and TIMS card no. 103392 from Tourism Board Nepal.
